ARMStaffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a day shift position in Oklahoma. The role involves working under a Physical Therapist to administer rehabilitative interventions for patients with physical functioning disorders.

Flexible times within a 8-hour day, Monday–Friday, with supervision and direction from a PT. Requirements include 1+ years PTA experience in LTC/rehab, active PTA license, and Level II readiness for new grads.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation settings required.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• New graduates considered if Level II experience (not just Level I).

Responsibilities

• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments with supervising PT.
• Report treatment outcomes to supervising PT.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Communicate progress with health team members and supervisors.
• Document required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation meetings.
• Support and supervise students under the PT's guidance.
• Adhere to APTA and state practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethics.
