Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support basic therapy services in a PRN role. The PTA works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans tailored to each patient’s age and functional needs.

Responsibilities include documenting services, educating patients and families, and coordinating activities with the healthcare team. The position is day shift, PRN, at our Norman campus in Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• Requires PTA licensure or eligibility in Oklahoma.
• BLS training required before providing patient care.
• Current BLS maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical therapy treatment programs under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Works as part of a PT/PTA team focused on patient‑centered decision making.
• Documents delivery of physical therapy services.
• Educates patients, families, and staff.
• Directs and supervises activities of support personnel.
