Job summary

Normandy Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team on a PRN basis. You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas PTA license, has SNF or long-term care experience, and is proficient with PT treatments and documentation in Net Health EDS.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PT treatment practices
• Experience with Net Health EDS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments under PT supervision.
• Provide skilled PT services per physician orders.
• Document and communicate patient status to PT and team.
• Modify plans of care under PT supervision as needed.
• Record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
