Innovate Rehab and Wellness in Jena, LA is hiring a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to work under a Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on one-on-one therapy, helping patients improve mobility and regain function with personalized treatment plans.

The position offers full-time hours, a supportive team, competitive hourly pay based on experience, and benefits starting day one, including medical, dental and vision coverage, PTO, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Valid state PTA license.
• Rehab/clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implement patient-specific treatment plans created by the PT.
• Lead patients through exercises, mobility training, and rehab activities.
• Educate patients on safe techniques and assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to the PT.
• Maintain accurate, compliant therapy records.
• Collaborate with the care team for coordinated treatment.
