Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy in Nashville, TN is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide to support therapists with treatments, prepare patients, and help maintain a clean, safe clinic environment.

You will assist with administrative tasks, inventory, and basic computer systems as part of a collaborative team dedicated to patient care and community health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; pursuing allied health preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills and familiarity with EMR, databases and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
• Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
• Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
• Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
• Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.
