Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a focused Physical Therapy Aide to assist therapists under supervision and help maintain hygiene and organization across treatment areas. You will set up patients for sessions, help with exercises, and support administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accurate handling of equipment and supplies within a patient-focused clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills and knowledge including EMR system, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
• Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
• Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
• Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
• Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.
