Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking an entry-level assistant to support therapists by preparing treatment spaces and equipment, assisting with patient setup and exercises, and handling clerical tasks. The role emphasizes a safe, organized clinic flow and patient-centered care.

The position supports a collaborative team culture and provides opportunities to grow through mentorship and hands-on learning in a busy outpatient setting across multiple Tennessee locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; preference for pursuing allied health field.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
• Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
• Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
• Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
• Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.
