Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated assistant to support licensed therapists across our growing network. You will help with treatments under supervision, prepare patients, and maintain equipment and clinic spaces with attention to safety and cleanliness.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient-centered care, and administrative duties such as scheduling and documentation in EMR systems. We value reliability, initiative, and a collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills and knowledge including EMR, databases, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
• Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
• Perform routine maintenance including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
• Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
• Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
• Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.

• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office
