College of the Mainland is seeking a part-time Student Life Assistant to join the Student Life team in Texas City. You will greet visitors, manage front desk operations, and support campus events, student organizations, and the gym facility.
Responsibilities include coordinating room scheduling, handling sign postings, and assisting with programming, intramural sports, and staff development. A high school diploma is required and a strong customer-service mindset is expected.
Enrich the lives of College of the Mainland students through the promotion of student leadership opportunities, facilitating campus events, and supporting student learning outside of the classroom. The Student Life Assistant ( SLA ) collaborates with fellow SLAs to implement campus events, support student organizations, and manage the gym facility.

Physical Requirements
Positions in this class typically require: stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, fingering, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
