College of the Mainland seeks professional tutors to assist students and community members in becoming more successful writers. You will help integrate effective learning strategies while clarifying course content and assignments.
Responsibilities include tutoring individuals or small groups, attending classes as requested, maintaining confidentiality, and reporting tutoring activities. A Bachelor's in English or related field is required; a Master's in English is preferred with college tutoring
Professional tutors assist and coach College of the Mainland students and community members in becoming more successful and independent writers. Professional tutors help integrate effective learning and study strategies for their students, while at the same time helping to clarify and reinforce course content, assignments and material.
