PRIMARY PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this role is to assist with checkout bagging, restocking, cart retrieval, parking lot maintenance, cleaning, and trash collection.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at shift start.
• Collect and operate trash compactor.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas, performing hourly clean sweeps.
• Collect, stack, and push carts to the front of the store.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to learn and operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Maintain attendance and meet performance standards.
• Complete the introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days.
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Wear approved clothing and shoes for the role.
• Possess and maintain any required licenses or permits.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Job involves continuous activity with maximum cycles.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, sit 0%, walk for 45% of the shift.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
