Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, restocking, collecting carts, cleaning, and maintaining the store environment. The position supports our mission to build strong families and healthy communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Collect and operate trash compactor, perform housekeeping, and keep work areas clean.
3. Collect, stack, and push carts to the front of the store.
4. Demonstrate good customer service skills.
5. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to understand and communicate company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to operate required equipment and tools.
• Adhere to performance standards, including attendance.
• Complete the probationary period of 30 or 60 days.
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes as approved.
• Maintain any required licenses, certificates, or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for 55%, walk for 45% of the shift.
• Maximum pull static: 20 lbs.

Preferred Requirements

Team members should understand company policies and procedures as outlined in the policy manual and handbook.
