Job summary

National Fitness Partners is hiring a Customer Service Representative at our Smyrna location, delivering superior service to Planet Fitness members and guests. You will answer calls, sign up new members, log amenities, and assist with purchases at the point of sale.

You will promote our fitness programs, maintain a clean and safe environment, and contribute to a positive, judgment-free experience for members. This role starts at $16 per hour with regular increases based on tenure.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members and sign up new members; log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and guests.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Qualifications: Job Requirements

• Customer service experience
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
