Job summary

Planet Fitness in Drexel Hill, PA is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate starting at $11 per hour for the first shift. The role focuses on greeting members, answering calls, and guiding new members through sign-ups.

Hourly increases occur at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months after the first year, with a focus on delivering a Judgement Free member experience and maintaining a clean, safe club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
