Job summary

National Fitness Partners, operating Planet Fitness franchises, seeks a part-time Customer Service Representative in King, NC. You will deliver friendly member assistance, handle sign-ups, tours and log amenities, while promoting fitness classes and maintaining a clean club environment.

The role offers weekend shifts and scheduled starting pay at $11 per hour, with raises at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months based on performance and anniversary date.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Sign up and tour new members, log amenities and greet members.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new members.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Location: L214 King - King, NC 27021, Part-Time: Starting at $11 per hour.

Shifts: 4:45 AM - 10AM or 5PM-11PM Monday to Friday. Weekends: 6:45 AM - 1 AND/OR 1PM-7PM. Weekends are required.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
