Primary Purpose

The primary purpose of this job is to clean office space, restrooms, break and lunchroom areas, remove trash, operate floor cleaner and power washers, and clean up spills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties.
• Clean and vacuum floors in office and conference spaces.
• Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas.
• Remove trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean spills, and use power washer for sidewalks.
• Dust and wash surfaces, mirrors, glass, and equipment.
• Resupply items as needed.
• Use floor cones to mark hazardous areas.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand safety policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to learn to operate cleaning equipment.
• Complete the company's probationary period.
• Read, write, and communicate in English related to job and safety.
• Meet performance standards including attendance.
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes approved for this job.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, walk 45%.
• Category IV physical requirements.

Preferred Requirements

• Understanding company policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $15.50 - $19.00 per hour.
