Job summary

Richcroft in Howard County is seeking a Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) Floater to provide hands-on care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Duties include personal care, activities, outings, shopping, cooking, and cleaning with flexible scheduling.

The role offers a base rate of $22/hr with a $1/hr weekend differential ($23/hr). FLSA status is non-exempt; 8 hours per week, schedule subject to individual needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current driver's license with <3 points on record.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be able to transport people supported as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with community participation and exploration.
• Cultivate independent living skills.
• Provide personal hygiene, activities, outings, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning support.
• Assist with development of meaningful relationships.
• Administer and record medications per state and agency rules when applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
