Job summary

Richcroft, Inc. is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional for Howard County and Durham, working every other weekend from 8am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

The role provides hands-on care to individuals with developmental disabilities, assisting with daily living activities. The position offers $23 per hour (including a $1 weekend differential) and involves helping with personal hygiene, activities, outings, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning, plus medication administration as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be able to transport people supported.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.
• Must be at least 20 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene, activities/outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
• Assisting with participation and exploration of the community and developing independent living skills.
• Administering and recording medications pursuant to State and Agency requirements, when applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
