Job summary

Richcroft is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Harford County/Haddington.

The role covers Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 4pm, with a starting rate of $23 per hour plus a weekend differential. Duties include personal care, community activities, and support for independent living skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct support or caregiving is preferred.
• Must be able to assist with personal care and daily activities.
• Must be at least 20 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Able to transport participants as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participation and exploration of the community.
• Cultivate and expand independent living skills.
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
• Assist with the development of meaningful and personal relationships.
• Complete required documentation (e.g., incident reports, progress notes).
• Administer and record medications pursuant to State and Agency requirements, when applicable.
