Job summary

Planet Fitness Springfield is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support members, guests, and prospective members. You will greet, answer phones, sign up new members, log amenities, and process transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to members and new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment

Job Location: L143 Springfield Liberty - Springfield, MA 01104

Part- Time: Starting at $15 per hour.

Hourly increases at 6 months and after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Schedule: Sunday (1pm-7pm), and weekday nights as needed

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
