Job summary

Planet Fitness in Plainfield, IN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative starting at $12 per hour. The role involves greeting members, signing up new members, answering phones, and assisting with store operations.

Schedule includes Thursday/Friday 10AM–6PM and Sat/Sun 6:45AM–1PM, with hourly increases at milestones. Responsibilities include handling POS transactions, promoting fitness classes, and maintaining a clean, safe club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency expected.
• Must be 18 years or older; high school diploma/GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes to members and new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
