Job summary

Planet Fitness in Milford, Delaware is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to assist members and guests in a busy club environment.

The role offers a starting wage of $15 per hour with scheduled increases at 180 days, 1 year, and every 6 months thereafter, based on anniversary dates. You will greet, sign up and tour new members, answer questions, operate POS, and keep the club clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members and guests.
• Answer phones professionally using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote our fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Location: L050 Milford - Milford, DE 19963, Part- Time: Starting at $15 per hour.

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Hours:

• Thursday and Friday: 2pm-8pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 1pm-7:15pm

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
