Job summary

Planet Fitness Belvidere is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to greet members, assist with sign-ups, and handle member questions at the Belvidere, IL club. The role includes weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday 9am–5pm) with hourly pay starting at $15, and periodic increases based on time with the company.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality member service, processing purchases, promoting fitness classes, and maintaining a clean club environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring a judgement-free experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner according to script.
• Greet members, sign up new members, and tour prospective members.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the POS system.
• Promote Planet Fitness classes to members and new sign-ups.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment.

Part-Time: Starting at $15 per hour.

Hours: Saturday 9am-5pm & Sunday 9am-5pm

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system
• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
