Job summary

Planet Fitness Salisbury is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet members, answer questions, and support a positive member experience in a busy gym environment.

You will handle sign-ups, tours for new members, and merchandise purchases while maintaining a clean and welcoming club.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred or required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script.
• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system.
• Promote fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to members and guests.
• Provide a clean, sanitized and safe club environment.

Job Location: L068 Salisbury - Salisbury, NC 28147, Job Shift: Second Shift, Part- Time: Starting at $11 per hour.

Hours:Monday Thru Thursday: (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM), (5:00 PM - 11:00 PM), Friday (1:00 PM - 9:00 PM), Saturday Thru Sunday (1:00 PM - 7:00 PM)

Hourly increases at 180 days, 1 year and every 6 months, after the first year, based on anniversary date.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests, ensuring an exceptional Judgement Free member experience.

• Answer phones in a friendly manner using information script


• Greet members, sign up and tour new members, and log amenities.


• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner


• Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system


• Promote our unique fitness instruction classes (PE@PF) to our active members and our new members

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling


• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.


• Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift


• Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift


• Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
