Job summary

MFort Security Services in Chicago seeks a professional Concierge Residential Officer on a temporary, full-time swing shift (1st/2nd). This position maintains a safe, welcoming environment at a residential property and requires strong customer service, calm demeanor, and prior concierge or front desk experience.

You will greet residents and visitors, enforce access control, observe and report incidents, conduct routine patrols, and cooperate with property management and clients.

Qualifications

• Must have Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 1 year of residential concierge or front desk security experience.
• Open to temporary 2nd shift and potential permanent role.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Enforce access control procedures and monitor visitor management systems.
• Observe, report, and document incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure a secure and orderly environment.
• Maintain situational awareness and respond promptly to emergencies or concerns.
• Adhere to all company policies, post orders, and client procedures.
• Communicate effectively with property management, clients, team members, and contractors.
• Responsibly use company and client-provided equipment for security and monitoring tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required by site management or MFort supervisors.

• Strong customer service and communication skills


• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure


• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods


• Able to work independently with minimal supervision


• Must pass a drug screening and background check

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM- 3:00 PM, Monday and Tuesday 3:00 PM-11:00PM (Set Schedule)


• Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
