Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a field-based Sales Professional to execute brand strategy, manage a territory near Carmel, IN, and build strong customer relationships to maximize short- and long-term performance.

You will deliver on KPIs, develop pre-call plans, and collaborate with account teams to place patient needs at the center of AbbVie's care model, while adhering to legal and company policies. A bachelor’s degree and pharma sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required.
• At least 5 years of industry experience with 3+ years in pharma/healthcare preferred.
• Proven leadership, presentation skills, and business acumen.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment.
• HCIR credentialing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance, KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives to meet or exceed those objectives.
• Create pre-call plan objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance; handle objections and calls to action.
• Proactively build trusted customer relationships and achieve win-win agreements.
• Develop and execute a call plan that achieves metrics and maximizes access and sales opportunities.
• Share market intelligence with in-field team, brand team and sales manager to align strategy.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with health providers and maintain disease state experts.
