Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team at the Georgia Diagnostics Classification Prison (SMU) in Jackson, GA. The role provides behavioral health assessments, diagnoses, and treatment within a correctional setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support inmate care.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO, Psychiatry board certification, an active license, and DEA registration. Onsite, weekday day shifts with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Must show/be able to obtain active DEA registration.
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team at Georgia Diagnostics Classification Prison (SMU) located in Jackson, Georgia.

The Psychiatrist works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
