Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Psychiatrist to join the team at Rogers State Prison in Reidsville, GA. The role is part-time (2 days/20 hours per week) on the day shift, with consideration for both remote and onsite candidates.

The position involves behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment within a correctional setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A medical degree in psychiatry and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry is required.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Participate in patient management across day shifts at Rogers State Prison.
