Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Psychiatrist to join our team at Pulaski State Prison in Hawkinsville, Georgia. The position supports behavioral health services for incarcerated patients, working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

The role is part-time (16 hours per week) with weekday shifts; remote and onsite candidates considered. Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry, an active license, and DEA registration are required, along with

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Participate in ongoing clinical evaluations and treatment planning.
