Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Psychiatrist for Ware State Prison in Waycross, Georgia. You will join a multidisciplinary team to conduct behavioral health assessments, diagnose, and treat inmates in a correctional environment.

The position requires an MD or DO, board eligibility/certification in Psychiatry, and an active license with DEA registration. Expect credentialing and a background check, with a 10-hour per week day shift.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check.

We are currently seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team at Ware State Prison located in Waycross, Georgia.

The Psychiatrist works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.
