Centurion Health seeks a psychiatrist to join the team at Valdosta State Prison in Valdosta, GA. The role involves behavioral health assessment, diagnosis and treatment for inmates within a multidisciplinary team. Weekdays, day shift; remote or onsite candidates considered.

We are currently seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team at Valdosta State Prison, located in Valdosta, Georgia.

The Psychiatrist works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required


• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry


• Active and unrestricted medical license or the ability to obtain licensure


• Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration


• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
