Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts seeks an experienced nurse leader to oversee clinical unit operations at the Anna Jaques/Beverly Hospital Psychiatric Unit. You will manage staffing within budget, collaborate with nurse managers, and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment focused on quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Baccalaureate in nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of practice.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Current Massachusetts license as RN; department certification as appropriate. BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and evaluates staffing patterns; responsible for monthly evening schedules and staffing.
• Participates in hiring, disciplinary and termination processes; collaborates with Nursing Director/IBH leaders.
• Performs evaluations on all employees; leads clinical unit meetings with positive impact on patient care.
• Leads multidisciplinary clinical meetings focused on treatment and management of patient care.
• Attends administrative meetings supporting the Nursing Division's mission.
• Reviews incident reports, restraint and seclusion forms; reports outcomes and solves issues with managers.
• Supports and implements administrative decisions; provides supervision for professional development.
