Job summary

Jobtome seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide specialized care in a mental health/psychiatric setting. The role includes creating nursing care plans, administering medications, and supporting recovery across adult and geriatric patients.

You will work in the UPC Inpatient/Geriatrics department, with a 0.90 FTE schedule and a Nights shift, contributing to a therapeutic environment and coordinated care with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Program graduate with nursing education.
• RN licensure required for New Mexico.
• Nationally accredited nursing program completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for psychiatric patients.
• Develop and implement patient care plans; assist in overall care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments; coordinate nursing activities.
• Chart patient data and communicate with physicians and staff.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and management.
