Job summary

• Education specialization: Essential: Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate; Nonessential: Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for psychiatric patients and design care plans.
• Administer medications and coordinate nursing care per physician orders.
• Perform nursing intakes, draw blood, and coordinate lab tests as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and safety.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and participate in quality improvement.
