Job summary

Jobtome is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an inpatient psychiatric unit in Rio Rancho, NM. The role involves providing professional nursing care across pediatric to geriatric patients, developing care plans, and ensuring adherence to hospital policies.

The position is 0.9 FTE with a Night shift and differential compensation. You will coordinate medications, educate families, and participate in multidisciplinary rounds to support patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Active NM RN license and CPR/BLS certification.
• Nationally accredited nursing graduate status.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for psychiatric patients and design care plans.
• Administer medications and coordinate treatments per policies.
• Educate patients and families on treatment regimens and recovery goals.
• Document observations and communicate with the care team.
• Support safety and crisis intervention as needed.
