Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant II to provide rehabilitative patient care under RN supervision in an inpatient setting. You will support recovery goals, assist with daily living activities, and document patient progress with HIPAA-compliant records.

The role offers diverse shifts (days, evenings, nights), potential overtime, and opportunities to contribute to a multidisciplinary team at the state hospital in Rusk, TX.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) months of direct care experience preferred.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR within 60 days.

Responsabilités

• Attends work regularly and may work rotating or extended schedules.
• Supports recovery plans and communicates with patients using therapeutic, person-centered approaches.
• Assists with activities of daily living and observation, reporting, and documentation.
• Promotes safety and participates in recovery team meetings and collaborations with RN.
