Health & Human Services Commission’s Terrell State Hospital is seeking a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant II to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in an inpatient psychiatric setting. The role supports recovery-focused care, assists with activities of daily living, observes patient conditions, and participates in unit-based programming.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) months of direct care experience preferred.
• CPR certification or the ability to obtain within the first 60 days of employment.
• Background checks, immunizations, and related screenings are required.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular basis and may be asked to work a specific shift schedule.
• Performs patient care under RN supervision to support psychiatric nursing care.
• Assists with activities of daily living, observation, and documentation of patient conditions.
