Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license.
• Clinical experience with psychiatric/behavioral health care.
• Knowledge of psychiatric medications and monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate care across disciplines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with active psychiatric caseload and related nursing needs.
• Support psychiatry clinical workflow with Mental Health Director and providers.
• Coordinate medication verification and continuity of care after admissions or transfers.
• Monitor medication-related needs, adherence, and required lab monitoring.
• Gather external records and histories to support evaluation and treatment.
• Coordinate readiness for psychiatric evaluation by addressing outstanding needs.
• Serve as nursing point of contact for psychiatric medication concerns.
• Facilitate communication through clinical pathways and reduce ad hoc requests.
• Ensure follow-through on treatment plans with all involved disciplines.
• Act as liaison among providers, nursing staff, pharmacy, and external orgs.
• Escalate unresolved issues to clinical leadership.
