Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
• Obtain health histories and evaluate conditions.
• Provide written assessments on admission, during confinement, and at discharge.
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate providers within the Medical Department.
• Administer medications, including IV therapy, as ordered by physician.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Follow CPS policies, state practice acts, and Code of Ethics for Nurses.
