San Antonio Behavioral Health seeks a dedicated Psychiatric Registered Nurse to assess walk‑in and phone referrals, deliver general/psychiatric nursing care, and support a care‑oriented hospital program. The RN will assess patients, implement care plans, and collaborate with the treatment team to ensure safe, effective care.

Responsibilities include admissions assessment, medication administration, patient education, and documentation consistent with policies.

Formación

• Licensed RN in Texas; ADN or BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience, behavioral health preferred.
• CPR, BLS, ACLS certifications desirable; CPI beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and families; plan and implement nursing care per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, intake assessments and treatment planning.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses; ensure safety.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and staff to design treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.
• Provide teaching and support to patients and families.
