Southridge Behavioral Hospital is seeking an Intake RN to perform telephonic and in-person risk assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for potential patients. You will coordinate referrals, admissions, and maintain open communication with families, patients and unit staff.

You will work with the Business Office on financial data and insurance verification, and with the UR Department for patient certification.

Competenze

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the State of Michigan required.

Mansioni

• Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment to assist physicians in identifying appropriate level of care.
• Coordinate referral and intake process; facilitate admission and communicate with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
• Collaborate with Business Office on patient financial data and insurance benefits verification; coordinate with UR for certification of admitted patients.
