Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Kentucky is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (LTC) for a full-time, weekday schedule (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) with no weekends. RN salary ranges from $64k to $71k per year, plus benefits.

LPN pay is $23-$25 per hour. Responsibilities include assessing behavioral and physical health needs, performing health screenings, administering medications, educating clients about pharmaceuticals, and coordinating with a Nurse Practitioner and care team to

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.

Psych RN LTC

Full-Time Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

No Weekends

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN Salary $64k-$71k per year

Responsibilities may include:

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Requirements for this position include:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
