Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking a registered nurse to support our diverse client population across children, adolescents, adults, and aging individuals. The role focuses on assessing and addressing behavioral and physical health needs within a multidisciplinary team.

You will perform screenings, monitor vital signs, administer injections, educate on medications, and coordinate case management to connect clients with community services.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license is required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.
• Preferably experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
