Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a Registered Nurse to support behavioral health services across our Chardon, Euclid, Mentor and Willoughby service area. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor and manage treatments for clients with psychiatric symptoms.

The role requires an active RN license, experience in behavioral health, and willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area. Developmental disabilities experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
