Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (LTC) for a full-time, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm position. No weekends. The service area includes Chardon, Euclid, Mentor, and Willoughby as you provide comprehensive psychiatric care.

The role requires an accredited nursing degree and RN license, with experience in psychiatric and behavioral health services preferred. Travel within the service area may be required.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients in psychiatric care.
• Perform health screenings and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and injections as needed.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals and care plans.
• Coordinate case management with Nurse Practitioner and care team.

LPN $23-$25 per hour

Responsibilities may include:

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

Requirements for this position include:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
