Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions seeks a Psychiatric RN for a full-time role serving the Willoughby area. You will assess behavioral and physical health needs, monitor vitals, and administer medications in collaboration with a team of clinicians.

The position supports clients across children, adolescents and adults with diverse needs. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license, plus experience in psychiatric/behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.

No Weekends

LPN $23-$25 per hour

RN Salary $64k-$71k per year

Service Area includes Chardon, Euclid, Mentor, and Willoughby
