Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team, delivering compassionate care to children, adults, and seniors in behavioral health settings. You will perform health screenings, monitor medications, administer injections, and coordinate case management across Cleveland and surrounding areas.

Travel throughout the assigned service area is expected. The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate and an active RN license, with experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administer injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
