Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Process Safety Management (PSM) Site Coordinator for the Owensville, IN facility. This onsite role leads governance, training, and program management to ensure compliance with 29 CFR 1910.119 and related regulations, collaborating with PSM Engineers, station leadership, and regional governance.

The position emphasizes technical leadership, site-level reporting, and participation in fleet-wide PSM initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering Technology with 6+ years related work experience.
• Highschool/GED with 8+ years related work experience as alternative.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred with 4+ years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and manage the site PSM program and governance.
• Serve as the single point of contact for the site PSM program, reporting to leadership and governance groups.
• Promote PSM understanding and compliance across site groups and teams.
• Support site PSM assessments and drive fleet-wide initiatives and audits.
• Coordinate site training for all PSM roles and track program metrics.
