Job summary

The Washington State Department of Commerce, Housing Division, seeks a Project-Based and Capital Partnership Program Manager to lead PSH initiatives, training, and grant management for permanent supportive housing.

You will develop policies, oversee subsidies, contracts with partners, and coordinate with fiscal, compliance, and performance teams to strengthen housing options for people with disabling conditions.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of combined professional level experience and/or education in community, trade or economic development with a focus in implementing or providing PSH using the SAMHSA or equivalent model.
• One (1) or more years (full-time equivalency) of professional-level experience must include developing and/or delivering training or presentations.
• Lived experience with housing instability and/or experience navigating and receiving services from public systems may substitute for one (1) year of education beyond high school equivalency and/or professional-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and technical assistance on evidence-based PSH practices to developers, housing providers, and property managers across WA State.
• Develop, coordinate and conduct workshops or seminars on PSH for local, state, and national audiences.
• Develop risk assessments, monitoring tools, and ensure compliance and accountability for state funds.
