Job summary

RTX in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico seeks an Engineer I in Engine Design and Systems Integration (PSA). You will perform analyses, support engine testing, and contribute to performance reviews in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree, a GPA of 3.0+, and programming skills in C++, Python, MATLAB, or VBA. US citizenship is required, and travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge in Thermodynamics and Fluids Mechanics.
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform low to medium complexity analytical simulations and performance and operability studies.
• Create engine trending packages to monitor engine health.
• Support system and design integration activities.
• Attend and participate in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
• Travel is up to 10%.
